Kellyanne Conway tells Clinton to 'stop pretending you're a feminist'

White House counselor Kellyanne Conway on Thursday told Hillary Clinton to "stop pretending you're a feminist" following Clinton's remarks that white married women felt pressure in the Republican Party to vote for the same candidates as their husband, boss or son.
Conway appeared on Fox & Friends to condemn Clintons comments that she made during a speech last weekend in India.
Let me tell you something, lady, Conway said to Clinton. The idea that I, or other women like me have to ask our husbands how to vote, its really a joke. Particularly since I wont say her name, but Ill appeal to you directly particularly since this country knows who you are, first and foremost, because of who you married.
Stop pretending youre a feminist, youre for equality, youre for fairness for women, and then running around accusing us of checking with our husbands and significant others before we vote."

for her to have the gall to direct any statement toward a woman she isn't fit to kneel before.

(10,024 posts)Hillary was correct about the particular women she was speaking about. Kellyanne is not one of them, but Kellyanne knows them well. Kellyanne and the GOP pander to them and their husbands for votes every couple of years and then do nothing to legislatively help them.

(58,785 posts)They can't win the women's vote. They can't win men who oppose them on women's rights.
They're trying to DEMOTIVATE Democratic voters by convincing them Democrats are just as bad as Republicans. Hillary's our most eminent leader for women's rights, so they need to build on past lies by "reminding" people that she's really just a devious lying witch. They'll be using the names of all the others also.
Niggling away at our trust and confidence in ourselves by, what, a few billion hits? That's probably seriously underestimated, but I can't guess the real number of hits through many different messages through all media. Let's certainly not forget email campaigns, the almost secret multiplier of evil lies delivered directly to individuals by friends, one juicy lie in 100 million homes in less than a week.

(58,785 posts)as you say. There are precious few of those. Enough to be spoilers, true, but this is a defining, disgusting behavior that identifies the rule-or-ruin crowd from everyone else. Certainly it does here on DU, and I'm glad it's out there for everyone to see nice and early.
Those operating on the right are far from infallible also. They badly underestimated and are in trouble with many more reasonable Republican voters. The GOP actually planned their midterms strategy for holding congress on the belief that the little people would accept their "great achievement," the Tax Heist, without noticing the hands picking their pockets.
To soon to uncross fingers, but Lamb's/PA district 18's revelation was such wonderful news!

(2,769 posts)Isn't politicking in any capacity right now. Still the idiots on the right keep throwing darts at her as if she were. It's pathetic and really quite funny how she haunts them even "defeat". If any of the GOP or their invested as much time on their critical thinking skills as they do Hillary attack vectors. Perhaps, the country could be governed like they had some damn sense.

It's crawling toward you...The tortoise lays on its back, its belly baking in the hot sun, beating its legs trying to turn itself over, but it can't. Not without your help. But you're not helping. Why are you not helping?
Kellyanne may question whether Hillary is a feminist. I question if Kellyanne is a human being, since she seems to lack human empathy
