DOJ dismisses Nunes demand for Trump-Russia document
Source: Politico
The Department of Justice on Friday dismissed Rep. Devin Nunes demand for an unredacted copy of the document that initiated the FBIs investigation of links between Russia and President Donald Trumps campaign.
In a letter released Friday, the Justice Department reaffirmed their and the FBIs response to House Intelligence Committees inquiries regarding the document.
Nunes, who is the House Intelligence Committee chairman, on Thursday sent a letter to the Justice Department demanding an unredacted copy of that document.
The Justice Department, however, have said they accommodated the committee in a manner consistent with relevant legal precedents by providing members of the department and FBI to review the FISA applications and renewals in camera.

(19,204 posts)from investigating the Trump/Russia probe? Why is he still sticking his big, stupid, fascist nose into business that he's been recused from?
The answer is really quite obvious; it's so he can run back to the Trump White House and tell them everything he learned. What a good little butt boy Devin has been for keeping the Orange Shit-Stain informed. Especially since Trump would throw him under the nearest bus in a nano-second. Trump demands loyalty, but he's not inclined to reciprocate.
