Stormy Daniels lawyer to Trump: What's dead is using attorney-client privilege to hide illegal acts
Source: The Hill
BY LUIS SANCHEZ - 04/10/18 09:01 AM EDT
Stormy Daniels lawyer Michael Avenatti said on Tuesday morning that attorney-client privilege is not dead, as President Trump had stated in a tweet earlier in the day.

What is dead is using the privilege to hide illegal acts, Avenatti wrote in a tweet. And that has been dead for a long time.
Earlier on Tuesday morning, President Trump tweeted that attorney-client privilege is dead after it was reported that the FBI raided the office and hotel room of Trumps personal lawyer, Michael Cohen on Monday.
-snip-
Avenatti said that the FBI raid shows that Cohen and Trump are in a lot of trouble and argued that the raid was part of a search for the truth and not a witch hunt.
