'I've never seen him like this before' W.H. sources say Cohen raid ignited Trump's "untethered rage"
Source: Alter Net/Raw Story
President Donald Trump is having an outright meltdown in the West Wing of the White House in real time and sources told Axios' Mike Allen he's losing it.
Friends and close associates to the president told Allen that Trump and his allies are acting out a full cataclysm in real time. When speaking to the press and on Twitter Monday, Trump claimed that the country was under attack. However, the reality is that he personally is under attack for legal problems. Like a rogue box of lighted fireworks, Trump is reportedly going off in every direction.
"Mueller's investigation has been drip, drip," one source began. "This was a giant leap forward ... a personal hit. ... They were moving in inches. Today, they moved a mile."
This also marks the first time Trump is having a crisis since his close advisor Hope Hicks has left the White House. Hicks was known for calming Trump down and keeping things ordered amid the chaos. In her absence, Americans witnessed the president dealing with his emotional collapse in real time.

(6,917 posts)I don't have a clever title, but I've seen this plot before. It's called "Titanic".
Only in this version, the Trump family commandeers a lifeboat at gunpoint and sails *away* from land into the vast open ocean and certain death. You know, a happy ending.

Roses, 2. Flatulence, 3. Model Airplane Glue, 4. Pizza, 5. Gasoline, 6. Skunk, 7. Natural Gas, 8. New Car Smell, 9. Dirty Shoes, and 10. Air Freshener We had a friend who knew Waters and had attended the opening of the movie in Baltimore. She lent us her pad so we could have the full experience when wee watched it.

Oh yeah, he did some small-claims court cases years ago, collecting past due rents

(5,810 posts)Anything or anyone who fails to be 100% obedient to him and his needs is dead to him. His emotional development is so stunted in childhood (infancy) that it is almost breath taking. And yet family, friends and close staff members know this and have probably kept some of this out of the public spotlight by managing him to give the illusion he is okay. But given the depths of his pathology makes it all the more stunning that he has lasted this long without a public display of his wrath like we witnessed yesterday.
To complete the meltdown and mental break, thus facilitating his removal, the pressure needs to be kept up nonstop, night and day. The hits from Mueller and anyone else with the power to do so need to Keep the hits coming to send tRumpolini over the edge. It is just a matter of time before he is unfit to appear in public. I dare double dog dare Ryan and those in position to rid us of this menace to stand by and do nothing in that case.

(11,885 posts)Because he probably is well aware of things Cohen has in his offices, and trump knows they'll find out most of it all, if they didn't already know before. That's why trumps a freaking out on everyone now. It'll incriminate a bunch of them too. Got to get more popcorn and refreshments. This is getting good. Trump's rant was his Nixons I'm not a crook speech.
FakeNoose
(32,639 posts)If he has all that incriminating evidence right there at his office, he deserves to go down. At least Manafort was smart enough to put his stuff into storage lockers under another person's name. It took Mueller awhile to track down the cartons, but he has them all now. Cohen didn't even try to hide his documents. He probably assumes he'll get a presidential pardon.

(397 posts)A stroke or heart attack now, could well get the Republican Party off the hook for some of the utter mayhem, lawlessness and destruction that this utter turd of a president has foisted on the country.
They were completely aware of what a total piece of shit he was, of how utterly incompetent and incapable he was, but they backed him.
In office they have watched him make a total disaster of things and said nothing, even now despite months of journalists suggesting that congress should take action to prevent the firing of Mueller, they have just trotted out their pathetic comments about 'not thinking it necessary'
The GOP have treated the constitution, and the citizens of the USA nothing but contempt. They do not deserve to be in office - not one of them. In the face of "clear and present danger" they have sat back and cheered for a tax cut that will enrich them and their donors.
Vote every single one out of office.
