Cambridge Analytica director met Wikileaks' Assange in 2017 'to discuss US election'

Source: The Hill

A former director with Cambridge Analytica, the data firm used by the Trump campaign, met with Wikileaks founder Julian Assange at the Ecuadorian Embassy in London last year to discuss the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

Embassy visitor logs obtained by The Guardian reveal that Brittany Kaiser, a director at CA until earlier in 2018, visited with Assange in mid-February of 2017 to discuss what had happened during the election.

Kaiser, according to the newspaper, is also accused of funneling money to the organization in the form of cryptocurrency, which is not illegal but allows the donations to go unreported due to Bitcoin's private nature.

It was reported last year that Assange had turned down an offer from Cambridge Analytica to help index and go through tens of thousands of stolen emails from former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's private email server.

"...Assange had turned down an offer from Cambridge Analytica to help index and go through tens of thousands of stolen emails from former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's private email server."

Assange does't have them, NOBODY DOES! They would have already been selectively and deceptively released if these fuckers had them.

They (and the media) just keeps repeating this to keep the faux "scandal" alive and titillating.

Cambridge Analytica whistle-blower Christopher Wylie testified to Congressional investigators that the Facebook data Cambridge Analytica collected may have been compromised by Russia.[1] This is an important revelation as we can see both CA and Russia promoted divisive disinformation campaigns online that were similar in nature;

""Steve Bannon oversaw the collection of Facebook data in 2014 and was the boss of disgraced former Cambridge Analytica CEO Alexander Nix.[2] Steve Bannon was a member of the board at Cambridge Analytica until he stepped down and became the Chief Executive of Trump's campaign, later becoming his Chief Strategist in the White House.[3] Cambridge Analytica whistle blower, Wylie, has come out and said that in 2014 CA was testing slogans, such as drain the swamp and deepstate, the Trump campaign later adopted these slogans.[4] ""

1) USA Today - Russia may have Facebook users' data mined by Cambridge Analytica, whistleblower says

2) Washington Post - Bannon oversaw Cambridge Analytica’s collection of Facebook data, according to former employee

3) CNN - Trump. Cambridge Analytica. WikiLeaks. The connections, explained.

4) CNN - Whistleblower: We tested Trump slogans in 2014

Many thanks to the Canadian Popin for keeping track of the facts about the pack of traito(R)s.

John Jones QC. Jones represented Assange in his extradition case against the Swedish government and became a close, personal friend, visiting him weekly until he was killed by a train in April 2016.

6. How is Cambridge Analytica receiving stolen emails not a crime?

It's no different from me staking out your mailbox and steaming open every letter you have look for dirt on you.

This isn't a case of a whistleblower releasing information about a crime that had been committed. This is individuals at a corporation receiving and reviewing knowingly stolen data.

10. It shouldn't involve Congress. This is just enforcing the law.

They were dealing with known stolen data and instead of reporting the theft they rummaged through the emails looking for dirt.

Is there known evidence that CA actually possessed stolen emails (be they from HRC, DNC, or Podesta, or others)?

I'd guess they likely weren't dumb enough to ever actually possess them ... after all, they were set to be released by Wikileaks anyways ... but I could be wrong.
