Trump Has Floated Golfing With Kim Jong Un if Singapore Summit Goes Well

Source: The Daily Beast

A high-stakes round of nuclear diplomacy set to take place next week in Singapore between President Donald Trump and North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un may lead way to a much lower-stakes round of golf between the two.

Trump has floated hitting the links with his counterpart as he considers a secondary charm offensive to complement the diplomatic tete-a-tete. The president has already told those close to him and advisers that he is open to inviting Kim to a follow-up summit at Trump’s famous Mar-a-Lago estate and private club in Palm Beach, Florida, as Bloomberg first reported this week.

And, according to two administration officials, Trump has also raised the possibility of a leisurely activity and, perhaps, getting in 18 holes with Kim if the two end up getting along.

“He has also discussed [possibly] golfing with Kim,” a senior Trump administration official said.

His dad claimed to have shot an 18 on a golf course. These two are peas in a pod.

If this happens, we'll be hearing about how they both shot a course record of 49.

Spanky can't ever stand to lose at anything, ever, which is why he cheats at golf. Kim probably doesn't even play golf, but he has to win, too.

Not that this is likely to happen, but it could be yet another diplomatic conundrum.

Kim Jong-un was child prodigy who could drive at age of three, claims North Korean school curriculum

Teachers in North Korea have been issued with a manual that requires them to instruct their charges that Kim Jong-un was a prodigy who could drive at the age of 3 and was winning yachting races at just 9.

South Korea's YTN television network reported that the manual has been provided to teachers at middle and high schools across the country to go with a new subject, Kim Jong-un's Revolutionary Activities, that is being included in the school curriculum from this year.

North Korean children are being taught that Mr Kim is a skilled artist and composer of musical scores, while he was able to drive when he was 3.

Mr Kim is also, apparently, a natural sailor.

"At the age of 9, Kim Jong-un raced the chief executive of a foreign yacht company who was visiting North Korea at the time", the books claim, adding that he overcame the odds to claim victory.

The first time he picked up a golf club, in 1994, Kim reportedly shot a 38-under par round on North Korea's only golf course, including 11 holes-in-one. He then decided to retire from the sport for ever.

I know it's never going to happen anyway, but I bet Trump's ego would make him beat the crap out of Kim then do a dance on the 18th, throwing any progress in the talks to the dumpster.
