Poll: Economic satisfaction under Trump isn't helping his party's 2018 chances

Source: NBC News

By a whopping 25-point margin, voters say they’re more likely to back a congressional candidate who promises to serve as a check on President Donald Trump, according to a new national poll from NBC News and the Wall Street Journal.
And by a similar margin, they say they’re less likely to vote for someone who has supported the president on most issues.

At the same time, six-in-10 are satisfied with the U.S. economy, and a plurality of voters give Trump credit for the economic improvement.

Despite that economic optimism, however, the poll shows that Democrats enjoy a 10-point advantage on congressional preference, with 50 percent of registered voters wanting a Democratic-controlled Congress, versus 40 percent who want a GOP-controlled one.

They speak as if it's monolithic; if billionaires are getting richer, that's all that matters to average people. They are in for a rude shock.

5. Their tax scam

Designed to give billionaires more billions while robbing people's health care from them , and eliminating 20-30 million from having it, and its been stated their premiums will rise in the next 2-3 years at least 90%. Add to that 1 trillion taken out of Medicaid , from the wealthy tax cuts, 1/2 trillion taken out of Medicare from the wealthy tax cuts, and now they have their sights on destroying Social Security with more wealthy tax cuts. Add DACA kids getting screwed over by them, rising food costs, rising gasoline costs, rising building costs, and a lot of inflationary policies with over a trillion more in debt. Who can't see what's coming, another hard recession , if not worse. The tariff's will also be very damaging, and all the instability he's causing, and the corruption is running wild. You know its really bad when a member of his team (Pruitt) has 15 investigations into corruption against him, and he won't fire him. And all the lying. The republicans are now doing nothing to stop him, and this will only insure the Senate and the House both will be retaken by the Democrats, because the Republicans won't protect us, and instead are protecting crooks in office. Plus we have a treasonous illegitimate president they refuse to go after for all his crimes. Its backfired on them, and they'll lose for a long time coming because of what they've done to us. Change is coming for them.

Was at a mall yesterday and one of a stores employees told me that they no longer can do deep, discount sales because of the rising costs from Chinese manufacturers. Every month I go to this swap meet and a friend who imports jewelry from China said her usual suppliers were rising prices and she had to raise her prices. I’m Aldo seeing an increase in produce prices. In the next few months these price increases will start to hit people who are not paying attention. It see things going to head by September and things could go downward for the economy. Prefect storm for the election and hurting Twitlers inherited President Obama’s economy.
