GOP chairman seeks Obama-era communications, docs on Russian interference

The Republican chairman of the Senate Homeland Security Committee is pressing officials to unearth Obama-era documents used to brief Congress in September 2016 on Russian attempts to interfere in the presidential election.
Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) is asking the Department of Homeland Security for documents used to prepare officials for the 2016 briefing, during which he says that Obama administration officials assured lawmakers that they “had the matter under control.”
The documents requested by Johnson include communications among then-Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson, then-FBI Director James Comey, President Obama’s Homeland Security Advisor Lisa Monaco, and other U.S. officials, according to a letter sent to Nielsen Wednesday and obtained by The Hill. All three individuals participated in the September 2016 briefing referenced by Johnson.
“The briefers … assured Members that the Administration had the matter under control and asked for Congress’ help in reinforcing public confidence in the election,” Johnson wrote, adding that he is requesting the documents in order “to understand the threat as it existed at the time of the briefing.”

Hey Johnson you really are a twit....................did you ever hear about the word "reset".............maybe you should read the book by David Corn and Micheal Isikoff.................Russian Roulette it has in there the word "reset", and maybe that will bring you up to speed.
Then while your at it why don't you read and ask Malcolm Nance and his book The Plot to Hack America.................and then if you get past the introductory sections of both books ..................why don't you bring in these three men into your committee and they can give you a clue---------------then if you can find time why don't you ask your boss, the sexual predator what happened in trump tower and on air force one, when he was deliberately breaking the law, and my favorite part in your stupidity, when your "guy" asked the Russians to release 30,000 e-mails on Clinton.......................
Why don't you ask your boss the sexual predator, why his team never called the FBI when Russian spies made contact with them during your traitor's party convention, you know a little thing about national security, and the possibility of being blackmailed, and now in your zeal of exposing an informant, because you don't give A SHIT about the ballot box, if you did then you would be demanding paper ballots in this mid-term election ...................
