St. Louis waitress fired after racist video goes viral, Air Force investigating

Source: KSDK

ST. LOUIS COUNTY - A south St. Louis County bar is facing backlash after a worker was seen in a racist video on social media.

The profanity-laced video shows three people using the N-word. It was posted on Snapchat and shared hundreds of times on Facebook.

“That is just disgraceful,” said Linda Harris, who was at the bar for dinner Monday night.

The 15-second video shows a young woman with a beer in her hand riding in a truck on a dirt road in the dark. In the video, you can hear her yelling a racial slur while others talk about going N-word hunting.

Narrator: "So we going n****r hunting today or what?"
Guy in a baseball cap: "We're going n****r hunting."
Narrator: "We're fucking n****r hunting right now, uh?
Woman says: "You get them n****s."

I've never been to this place or know where it is, but it's hardly surprising that it was South County.

JeffCO has some very "charming" residents and aspects to it's ambiance.

Personally I stick with North St. Louis County.

St. Louis can be bad enough, but when you get into the Ozark parts of the Metro, it 's pretty scary.

(Jeffco is the first county immediately south of St. Louis City/County)

Could be more racist asses getting fired or investigated yet, and there should be. Whoever was driving that truck could be charged for allowing her to ride on top.

The basket of deplorables is pretty much full now and overflowing......

vacation spot for us too far in the middle of the state Ozarks, right now considering warnings put out . The eclipse was many people and no problem but a summer vacay may not be the same and we don't know where to stay out of . We just don't want problems and there are so many other places to travel
Our vacation $$ ( from Chicago ) will go to CA this year . I've been out there recently for business and my family will join on one of the trips later in the summer.
Last years was NYC and then the eclipse out of St Louis but staying at night in the city
No problems in either city
I've been to KC many years ago . Great nightlife and food I imagine is still there!

few rednecks and asshats, especially in that part of the southern part of St. Louis City and County. We're just embarrassed and nauseated as you all are too.

At least they got caught, and will learn what their actions will result in, loss of jobs, income, and misc. all because of some ignorant shit they did while drunk (probably). If they wanted to impress their friends, maybe they did a little bit, but they overwhelmingly disgusted the rest of us here in MO.

But, it's the rednecks and asshats and religious fanatics, that are in control of your state! The problem appears to be, that there aren't enough fine responsible Missourians in the state to make a BIG difference!!!

sad state of affairs in America. Some places worse than others, but here in paradise, as the tourists call it, my favorite bartender told a patron, and a local at that, to leave his bar when he wouldn't stop calling President Obama the N word. A brave thing for a local bartender to do in the dead of winter when business is scarce. I'm glad this woman was fired. There must be push back and consequences to this behavior.. it can escalate far too fast.

of the hateful, racist wypipo that their white racist leader, currently befouling 1600 Pennsylvania Ave and his AG, has unleashed on an unsuspecting 'post-racial' white society/culture.

Not unsuspected by AA or anyone with brown skin though because wypipo and their hateful system of SYSTEMIC AND INSTITUTIONAL racism, humiliation, summary execution never stopped in 300+ years. And now still trying to have of AA lives and culture fear an illusion of false white superiority. NEVER gonna happen again!!! Never.

This is so disgusting. Glad these racist pigshit asshole/idiots didn't kill anyone.: grr:

5 On Your Side also learned the woman may be in the U.S. Air Force. It said in a statement, the Air Force said:

"We have been made aware of a video online of an alleged reserve Airman who made racially insensitive comments. We are looking into the matter and we appreciate this being brought to our attention. The U.S. Air Force values diversity and inclusion; our Airmen come together to produce an incredible team that can accomplish any mission and overcome any challenge. We believe that our greatest asset is our diverse, innovative and technically-savvy workforce. Our Airmen come from all backgrounds and remarks such as these do not fall in line with our culture. We take incidents like this very seriously and action will be taken upon further investigation as necessary."

I'm close to tears as I think about those 3 kids whose Mom was senselessly taken from them, especially the 8 year old.

I apologize for breaking the OP's topic. I don't know what to say, jsut shocked.
