Sessions warns against obstructing border police

Source: Politco

Updated 06/24/2018 09:25 AM EDT

Attorney General Jeff Sessions issued a warning on behalf of the Department of Homeland Security, saying that regardless of what anyone thinks of Trump administration immigration policies, obstructing or abusing border and customs officials will not be tolerated.

"Free speech, assembly, and protest are and will be protected," Sessions said in a statement issued Saturday evening. "But obstructing law enforcement or committing other crimes will not be tolerated."

Tensions over the Trump administration's immigration policies — particularly those that have led to the separation of children from their families — have spilled over into the public treatment of everyone from Border Patrol and Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents to one of Sessions’ fellow Cabinet members.

Sessions' warning comes after online activists have threatened to dox ICE employees by attempting to publicly shame those who work for the agency, and others have vowed to use tactics similar to the occupy movement to grind immigration enforcement to a halt. According to the Willamette Week in Oregon, ICE "temporarily halted" operations in Portland after protesters blocked the front entrance to a facility there.

So you said this: "But obstructing law enforcement or committing other crimes will not be tolerated."

So when you lied in a congressional hearing did you or did you not commit a crime and was obstructing law enforcement? Your one to talk........................

“Free speech, assembly, and protest are and will be protected," Sessions said in a statement issued Saturday evening.”

The list of comedians placed in this misadministration are too many: Sessions, SHS, Pruitt,...
To state these things in the English language with a straight or smirking face as if there is any semblance of truth contained therein is too silly to give it respect.

Anyone paying attention since 1968 (and before-think union protests) knows it’s lip service to proclaim we have Constitutionally protected speech, assembly and protest worth anything near what the FF envisioned.

OWS put to rest any noble expectation that the people’s protest was protected or would not be vanquished by corp/govern/police state agendas.

1- It pisses off the opposition thus encouraging them to do something.
2- So.. the can then say 'we warned you.'

Although jefferson beauregard sessions the Turd didn't specifically mention those incidents, there's no doubt that they were on his tiny, little mind. The article included this:

The department's secretary, Kirstjen Nielsen, had protesters surround her while she was eating dinner at a Mexican restaurant in Washington on Tuesday and then had demonstrators outside her home on Friday morning.

Oh, boo hoo!

Would that be "zero tolerance"? Because that has worked out so well for the Trump administration.

and obstruction is against the law. But I remember back when DEA were raiding marijuana dispensaries in Northern California right and left. Restaurants and stores started refusing service to DEA agents. One or more of the local sherrifs refused to cooperate. I think anyone who is in a position to make life hard for ICE agents, Jeff Sessions, Trump or anyone associated with this whole sorry mess should think about doing it. They could be like The Soup Nazi "No soup for you"!

The Holocaust was legal. Slavery was legal. Segregation was legal.
People who hid young Jewish kids in their attics were criminals.

I have a strong suspicion that negative verbal feedback will result in trumped-up charges. There is no law with this criminal regime.
