UPDATED: Trump Attacks 'Dirty' Restaurant That Refused to Serve Sarah Sanders

Last edited Mon Jun 25, 2018, 01:11 PM - Edit history (1)

Source: The Daily Beast

The President has taken time out of his busy schedule to attack the "filthy" restaurant which refused to serve his Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders. Sanders claimed in a tweet Saturday that she was told to leave the Red Hen in Lexington, VA because she works for Trump. Early Monday morning, the President took aim the the restaurant for the state of its paint job and its dirty decor. "The Red Hen Restaurant should focus more on cleaning its filthy canopies, doors and windows (badly needs a paint job) rather than refusing to serve a fine person like Sarah Huckabee Sanders," blasted the Commander-in-Chief. "I always had a rule, if a restaurant is dirty on the outside, it is dirty on the inside!" Although it should be noted that Trump's most famous property, Mar-A-Lago, has itself been cited for food violations and safety issues. Sanders said Saturday: "Last night I was told by the owner of Red Hen in Lexington, VA to leave because I work for @POTUS and I politely left. Her actions say far more about her than about me. I always do my best to treat people, including those I disagree with, respectfully and will continue to do so."

UPDATE:

Restaurant That Trump Called 'Filthy' Actually Has A Glowing Health Record

By Nicole Lafond June 25, 2018 11:20 am

Not so "filthy" after all.

Despite President Donald Trump's dubious claim that a restaurant's exterior appearance will unfailingly mirror its interior cleanliness, the restaurant in Lexington, Virginia that gave White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders the boot over the weekend actually has a glowing health record, according to county health department documents.

Red Hen's last violation was found during an April 2014 inspection -- raw meat was stored above cookie jars and the expiration date on some grits stored in the refrigerator was improperly labeled -- and both errors were corrected at the time of the county officials' visit.

Red Hen's last inspection was completed on Feb. 6, 2018, when it received a clean bill of health with no violations or required follow up visits. The Rockbridge County official who conducted the inspection even noted the staff's "clean uniforms/aprons," the proper restraint of the cook's hair and an "excellent job on code-dating."

Before February, Red Hen was inspected on Jan. 24 2017 and it received similarly high marks: "Good food and unit temperatures;" "Clean aprons; "Employees properly washing hands during evaluation;" "Hand sink fully stocked with soap/paper towels, hot and cold running water."

His properties. His daughter. His crowd, penis, and hand size...

Shallow stupid ignorant man. Give him a nice looking shit sandwich on a solid gold plate and he would devour it happily.

Health code violations that result in illness, sanitary conditions of the kitchen and dining area, quality and value of the food, and service from the staff are far more important than the age and cleanliness of an outdoor awning.

Those who see the wrong direction of Republican, can make the change away from Republican System, when they see the truths that unfold which will continue to devastate them.

Reading can provide information to help people understand what they see. (please be patient enough to invest in reading, its how we as a society were groomed to learn) We can give our thanks unto our public schools for the gift of education by using it, "read" that we can become better informed. We owe it to ourselves and our American society, as well as the offspring's who's future is at stake.

From what I've seen, when libs flood an establishment with 1* reviews after an incident, they tell the truth about the event, such as the staff is racist, homophobic, etc.

But when the deplorables do the same thing, they have to make stuff up for their 1* reviews, like they did in this case.

it's a way to avoid distractions and influences when discussing many important decisions.

And it looked like it had 4.5 stars on Yelp before Trumpsters put in fake reviews over the weekend.

Walter Shaub answer to Trump's tweet about "Red Hen Resstaurant"

https://twitter.com/waltshaub

One fine morning the president of a 330 million person country with the world’s largest nuclear arsenal decided the matter most needing his attention was the vengeful destruction of a rural eatery. Stealing babies and children made him hurt less, but the little things helped too.

p.s. Trump’s Red Hen rant would also violate the misuse of position regulation, if he followed the tradition of trying to act as though it applied. But this walking conflict of interest has chosen to hold himself to a lower standard than the federal workforce he supervises.

It's also in the middle of nowhere - about 200 miles from DC - and it's on a street that, while pleasant enough, isn't where you'd be if you didn't know something you wanted was there. (FWIW, the town it's in is where Virginia Military Institute is.)

I'd say we not eat there unless we have some other reason to be in Lexington because one really good meal isn't worth 400 miles' worth of fuel.

.... his tweet shows me is that he has zero confidence in his White House spokesperson's ability to choose a restaurant. The idiot and his supporters are so dense that tbey do not realize Sanders would have eaten there if she had not been asked to leave. There is a short circuit in trumplican's brains that cannot be fixed, and the surgery to rectify this flaw does not, and will never exist.
