One lawmaker said an intoxicated Hill put his hands on her back, slid them down her back, put them under her clothes and grabbed her buttocks. She told him to back off and walked away, but Hill approached her again later and again reached under her clothing and grabbed her buttocks. She again told him to back off.

Thanks!

(10,901 posts)That's all the forum guidelines say about the number of paragraphs. And it says nothing about which paragraphs, i.e. doesn't have to be the first four.
I agree it would be better to include more than one paragraph (up to the four maximum), but it's not a violation of any guideline.

The second time called for action.

(4,066 posts)I think self-defense is still a valid argument in court. Even if you hit the top law enforcement officer of the state.

He is guilty of assault, not her.

(34,133 posts)Easier for women to do than to punch or knee someone (especially if they are behind her) and it doesn't take a lot of muscle strength to break their finger. Then they won't be grabbing anyone anywhere for quite a while!

(4,066 posts)It took the paper until almost the very end of the article to mention he's a Republican.
Anyone know who the paper endorsed in the 2016 election? Since it's Pence's home state I'm betting it was Trump/Pence and since this is Pence's home state I'm not surprised it took so long for his party affiliation to be mentioned.
I'd put money on the bet that if he were a Democrat the article would say "Democratic AG" multiple times throughout.

(4,047 posts)The Indy Star is now owned by Gannett, but was previously owned (and may still hold a minority interest - Id have to check) by the Pulliam family. Look a couple of branches over on the Pulliam family tree, and who do you see? Dan Quayle.
So, yeah, the folks at the Editorial desk typically lean right and have for years.
Sadly, its the only game in town.
