Trump Supporters Launch Boycott Walmart Campaign to Protest Impeach 45 T-Shirts
Source: Market Watch
A Twitter campaign urging consumers to boycott Walmart Inc. has broken out, after shoppers on the companys website spotted clothing with a message promoting the impeachment of President Donald Trump.
The hashtag #BoycottWalmart WMT, +0.77% was trending in response to a range of T-shirts uncovered late Monday with the message Impeach 45 emblazoned on the front. The T-shirts were still available on the site Tuesday at prices ranging from $16.95 to $41.95 for a long-sleeved version.
Most of the T-shirts were made by Old Glory, a Connecticut-based company that makes T-shirts for music and entertainment events, but there were also versions on offer from City Shirts, and Hanes Brands Inc. HBI, +0.61% the company that is known for its plain underwear and other basic clothing.

(53 posts)I see the most peculiar people at walmart wearing support shirts for tRump.
People from the deep south wearing MAGA hats and shirts, pushing carts full of sodas and sweets, and chips, etc. The basic four food groups for the typical tRump supporter; Fat, Sugar, and Salt, and cheap (I mean really cheap) beer.

Boycott Walmart? Impeach 45 Apparel Is Angering Trump Supporters
https://hillreporter.com/boycott-walmart-impeach-45-apparel-is-angering-trump-supporters-3335/amp
Walmart has come under fire for selling a line of clothing that openly demands the impeachment of Donald Trump. The clothing, which featured the term Impeach 45 in bold lettering, has since been removed from the companies website but #MAGA outrage on Twitter is alive and well.
The term #boycottWalmart started appearing on Twitter soon after the clothing line was revealed. Donald Trumps supporters say its unpatriotic and have promised to swear off Walmart for good.
While Twitter users were flipping out over the sale, the company also sells Make America Great Again apparel and items that clearly state, Donald Trump Speaks For Me. The mixture of items seems to show a lack of partisan politics from the retailer.
Much of the outrage was tweeted out by Twitter users with Deplorable in their user name.

(58,785 posts)(sometimes too nice to understand this world) that the Gadsden flag design had to be considered aggressively racist when we saw it on a t-shirt in the boy's section of a major department store chain. She's not fond of snakes but my grandson loves nature and the shirt was in the colors she needed. I'd name the guilty store but I'm no longer sure. In any case, their school district in a metro Atlanta community is as diverse as most could want and I suspect it wouldn't have gone over any better than an impeach-Trump baby T would.
