Ohio neo-Nazi Andrew Anglin lost his lawsuit to comedian and political commentator Dean Obeidallah today.

The lawsuit said that Anglin posted a false news article claiming the comedian was a terrorist on The Daily Stormer. A federal court agreed that the claim was a malicious attempt to defame Obeidallah, who has a show on SiriusXM Progress and appears frequently on CNN.

The article is filled with screen captures of tweets that weren’t real but created by someone to justify the attack on Obeidallah. After the story was posted on the neo-Nazi site, Obeidallah was faced with death threats.

The judgment was in the Southern District of Ohio after lawyers told the court that it was extremely difficult for them to serve Anglin with the lawsuit paperwork.

In 2012, Anglin launched the website Total Fascism. There, according to Vocativ, he wrote in depth pieces on Hitler’s art, the Greek neo-Nazi political party Golden Dawn and critiques of the radio host and conspiracist Alex Jones, whom Anglin despises for not hating Jews. Anglin decided the length of the articles were cutting back his audience, hence the zippier and more epithet-ridden Daily Stormer.

A federal court clerk on Tuesday sided with Muslim-American comedian and liberal commentator Dean Obeidallah in his libel lawsuit against a notorious neo-Nazi.

Obeidallah sued Andrew Anglin, the founder of alt-right website The Daily Stormer, in response to an article posted on the website claiming Obeidallah was a terrorist.

Neither Anglin nor any attorneys responded to the suit, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Glad to hear it. Too bad he didn't sue for damages. You can't get blood from a turnip, as shithead probably doesn't have two dimes to rub together and it would probably be expensive to try to collect. But it could ruin shithead's credit, if he has any, and potentially be garnished from what wages shithead may receive. Then again, who in their right mind would want to hire the guy. CLEVELAND (AP) — A Muslim-American radio host has received a court judgment in his favor in his federal lawsuit against a neo-Nazi website publisher because the defendant never responded to the Ohio case in court.

Dean Obeidallah accused The Daily Stormer's publisher, Andrew Anglin, of falsely labeling him as the "mastermind" behind a deadly bombing at concert in England last year.

Cleveland.com reports neither Anglin nor any attorney for him responded, so the court entered a finding of default Tuesday. Obeidallah's attorneys said they had tried unsuccessfully to reach or locate Anglin or his legal representative through emails, private investigators and notices in a Columbus-area legal publication.

Obeidallah didn't request a specific amount of damages. In that situation, judges typically have a hearing to determine the amount.
