Trump biographer: Trump didn't write any of his books

Source: The Hill

A biographer of President Trump hit back at Trump’s tweet touting himself as the author of “many best selling books,” saying that ghostwriters had written all of the president’s books.

“President Trump didn’t write any of his books. Ghostwriters on all of them,” author Tim O’Brien tweeted Tuesday.

-snip-

Trump is credited as the author of more than a dozen books. Almost all of them acknowledge the use of a ghostwriter or co-author.

The president defended himself over spelling errors in his tweets on Tuesday, saying that he has “written many best selling books” and “somewhat [prides] myself on my ability to write.”

Tweet from O'Brien, who wrote the Trump biography Trump Nation:

Text of that tweet from Trump

After having written many best selling books, and somewhat priding myself on my ability to write, it should be noted that the Fake News constantly likes to pour over my tweets looking for a mistake. I capitalize certain words only for emphasis, not b/c they should be capitalized!

which was deleted and reposted with the "pour over" mistake corrected:

7. Ghostwriters also wrote his college papers, I'm certain of it. He's too illiterate to write them.

.

I bet if his college papers were released, they would not only indicate multiple writing styles, but also could pinpoint who the real authors of those works were. Over in the UK, there is a company that can determine the source of writers, with almost 100% accuracy. This is not only well-known published writers, but others who have submitted papers.

14. There are multiple websites offering plagerism checking programs,

many of which are free. They're often used by colleges to verify originality of students' work, and are highly successful.

Perhaps Melania's staff should download a few of these since she also has been outed for her hoisting of Michelle Obama's beautifully written words.

16. That works for direct plagiarism. The English system identifies the author based on writing style.

.

So, if someone writes a unique commissioned paper for Trump, from scratch, this system can compare it against millions of papers and identify the writing style, using various identifying factors--telling you exactly who wrote the paper.

Was elected. He actually praised Obama in the preface. I tore that page out of the book before I burned it. From what I read it is obvious from the syntax he didn’t write a word. I still held onto to that page in the book to use it one day against the cult members.

18. Tony Schwartz, the REAL author of "The Art of the Deal," says the same
Thu Jul 5, 2018, 05:13 PM
Jul 2018

Schwartz had to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement that expired a few months before the 2016 election. Once he was free to tell his story, he has made it clear that Trump never wrote a single word of that book, and there was hardly any collaboration on it as well. If it hadn't been for the contract he signed before he wrote the book, Schwartz would not have even put Trump's name on it as "co-author."

It has been posted on DU several times, and here is one of the links:

"Donald Trump's Ghostwriter Tells All" with link to the New Yorker magazine article from July 2016.

This New Yorker article has interesting observations and personal details, it's too bad the MAGAts never saw it.

*If you search "Schwartz" in DU and expand the date from 2016 to present, you'll see more posts about Tony Schwartz in the last couple of years.
