Mayor of city in England 'bans' Trump

The mayor of Sheffield, England, announced that he was “banning” President Trump from his city ahead of Trump’s visit to the United Kingdom.

Sheffield’s Lord Mayor Magid Magid put on a sombrero while making the announcement at a city council meeting, BBC reported Wednesday.

The Green Party councillor on Twitter called Trump a “wasteman” -- a British slang word for someone with no merit.

Magid even wore a matching T-shirt with the phrase.

8. Sheffield is my home town

The mayor is a Green Party councillor and Sheffield has a historic reputation for being quite left wing.

This is pure gesture politics of course. I can't imagine President Fart wanting to visit anywhere in Yorkshire in the first place. Never mind Sheffield. Unless he wants to go for some cheap race baiting over the Rotherham child sex abuse scandal, and the chances of the President visiting Rotherham are even more remote!
