Giuliani: 'No concerns' about Cohen cooperating with investigators

Rudy Giuliani said Sunday he has “no concerns” about whether President Trump’s longtime personal attorney Michael Cohen will cooperate with federal prosecutors or potentially “flip” on the president.

“Michael Cohen should cooperate with the government. We have no reason to believe he did anything wrong,” Giuliani said on ABC’s “This Week."

“I have no concerns that Michael Cohen is going to do anything but tell the truth,” Giuliani added.

Giuliani, who joined the president’s legal team in the Russia probe earlier this year, argued that the president is not involved in any of Cohen’s legal troubles. Cohen is reportedly under investigation for bank fraud and campaign finance law violations.

Giuliani: Trump 'did not originally know' about Stormy Daniels payment

Rudy Giuliani said Sunday that, to his knowledge, President Trump did not “originally know” about Michael Cohen’s payment to adult-film star Stormy Daniels as part of a nondisclosure agreement over an alleged affair with the president.

“As far as I know… the president did not originally know. At some point, probably a little foggy as to exactly when, the president found out and reimbursed him,” Giuliani said on ABC’s “This Week.”

He argued that regardless, it wasn’t a campaign contribution and thus did not violate campaign finance laws. “This is something he would have paid for no matter what,” Giuliani said.

“That’s something you settle because you don’t want your family to be embarrassed,” he added, calling the $130,000 transaction a “nuisance payment.”

These people are repulsive. They would gag a maggot. They remind me of when I was a kid and we were on vacation. we got dad to stop at this broken down joint that advertised the biggest collection of snake in the world. We paid the admission and we got to look in these barrels with only god knows how many churning slithering creatures. Every time I see the Ghoul on TV I am reminded of that trip. This administration slimy serpents should be put in barrels out of the way cheap tourist trap.
