Trump: Solution to reuniting immigrant families is 'don't come to our country illegally'

Source: The Hill

BY JACQUELINE THOMSEN - 07/10/18 09:41 AM EDT

President Trump on Tuesday responded to his administration missing a court-ordered deadline to reunite separated immigrant families by saying people shouldn’t “come to our country illegally.”

"Well, I have a solution. Tell people not to come to our country illegally. That's the solution. Don't come to our country illegally. Come like other people do. Come legally,” Trump told reporters. “I’m saying this: We have laws. We have borders. Don't come to our country illegally. It's not a good thing,” he added.

The Trump administration said Monday that it would not be able to meet the court order to reunite detained migrant children under the age of 5 with their families by Tuesday. Many reunifications are happening despite the missed deadline.

A court has also ordered the administration to reunite the remaining detained children with their families by July 26. A judge rejected officials’ request to extend the deadline.

Trump is intentionally harming the children so that he can punish the parents and use the stolen children as a deterrent.

He's a sadist like a Gestapo interrogator.

His base is essentially made up of the wealthy and the ignorant. The combination is a sure road to destruction.

We will continue to purposefully inflict pain on families desperately seeking asylum (unless they are Norwegian, or White conservative Christians, or...)?

Has he directed his administration to actively seek and deport "whiter" Europeans (some with skills and financial means, some without) that have overstayed their student and tourist visas?

We do know for some reason the US is harassing Canadian fishering boats in Canadian waters.

I keep wondering when the hell the media is going to pick up on this, but they're so overwhelmed with each and every new scandal that nothing gets more than a few minutes of attention and therefore nothing gains traction.

illegally here. Now she has her parents (Communists) and sister living here. How did THEY get in? The "modelling agency" she worked for was run by a notorious pimp. She was 26 when she arrived, kind of OLD to be breaking into modeling. A friend said she was aging out of the "business" (escorting?) and was thinking of going home, then she met the Orange Ass. He bragged to Howard Stern about her being "great in bed" So she should be, lots of practice with various men and women?

In 1980, Poland - where Trump got the workers he used to demolish Bonwit Teller - was a communist country.

Does anyone have any idea why Trump loves communism so much?

The US has an obligation to allow refugees to enter the country and have their refugee status accepted or denied after due process.

One has to wonder what they had planned for all of those children (never lose sight of the fact that Spanky never so much as lifts a finger unless it's going to benefit him or his family). About the only logical answer is that these kids were going to be, or likely ARE currently being, sold into for-profit adoption agencies.

Whether he believes he can retain his power for a long time as well is besides the point. Him and Stephen Miller and all, want the word to go out across the globe that the US is a racist country and that there is no such thing as a 'refuge' anymore. No matter what you are fleeing. There is only brown people wanting to take advantage of the US generosity and live off US taxpayers for the rest of their lives. That is, unless they are robbing and raping in a gang.

And its working to a degree already. In Canada there is a flood of immigrants running across our southern border. Many just kept going north with what they hear in the news. If refugees know their children will be taken away from them if they dare apply to stay in the US, I can see many deciding its not worth it. Which is sad because it means many will give up in despair and have to accept raising their kids in violent, gang infested areas, and/or ruled by corrupted authoritarian strongmen who lavish the rich and spend little to improve their lives.

It sounds like you're describing the current occupant of the White House instead of a third world dictator.
