Papa John's founder John Schnatter has resigned as chairman of his company's board after admitting and apologizing for using the N-word during a May conference call.
The company said in a statement it will appoint a new chairman in the coming weeks. Olivia Kirtley acts as the company's lead independent director, it added.

(1,242 posts)Chemicals/hormones with food is not food. Organics cost more, but that's how much FOOD costs! If everyone who feels they could afford to stop buying food processed with crap would stop buying it, that trash would be off the market.

(94 posts)He was saying, in summary, that Colonel Sanders used to get to use the N-word all the time and never had to take this sensitivity training like he was being forced to do, harrumph. Y'know, back when America was "great." The only thing he left out was an appeal to "free speech." His statements were right in the sweet spot of MAGA shitheadery, and will certainly be viewed as favorable by the MAGA crowd.
