President Donald Trumps personal attorney Rudy Giuliani responded to the indictment of 12 Russian intelligence officials for conspiracy to interfere in the 2016 election by calling the charges a win for Trump.
He tweeted that the indictment was good news for all Americans and proved that Trump is completely innocent.

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein announced Friday that 12 Russian officials had been charged with hacking the Democratic National Committee, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and the Hillary Clinton campaign. Rosenstein said he informed Trump of the impending indictments earlier this week.
The news comes just days before Trump is set to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Hes told reporters in recent days that he plans to confront Putin about election meddling, but lamented that he could only ask Putin to not do it again.

(18,124 posts)lying idiots live in?!?!?!? Any thinking person can pick out their lies and obfuscation all the time now. They have a pattern.,...constantly lie until their base and their propaganda arm, fox news media, believes them and spreads the lie. Which is not hard to do. JEEZ!!!!! This is insane. This country is in such a mess and the quandary is how to get rid of trump and his administration with as little chaos as possible.

(23,006 posts)Rosenstein never once said no Americans were involved. In fact, the indictment mentions a company (not named in tis indictment) that asked the Russians for this information. Wonder if it's Campbridge Analytica with contact person Jared or if it's Stone or who? Hope we find out soon.

(3,515 posts)account, that Trump and Putin had some sort of deal.
It was when Trump attended the meeting in Europe -- G7 or NATO maybe both -- in 2017.
I know a lot about Europe and have lived there. It was and is no coincidence that Trump goes out of his way to be so blatantly and deliberately rude to the leaders of Western European nations. That behavior is unheard of, deliberate to the point of intentional, and not without motivation of some sort. It's systematic. It may even be intended to anger our allies of so many years.
This is serious business.
