Trump Arrives In Scotland Amid Protests
Source: BBC
Donald Trump has arrived in Scotland as thousands of people gathered to protest against his visit.
The US president touched down at Prestwick Airport shortly after 20:20 after completing his two-day working trip to the UK.
Mr Trump, whose mother was Scottish, will spend the weekend at his Turnberry golf resort in Ayrshire in what has been described as a private visit.
Protestors filled George Square in Glasgow ahead of his arrival. Shortly after Mr Trump's arrival at Turnberry a power paraglider was spotted flying close to the resort with a banner which said "Trump: Well below par"...More..

(9,970 posts)Mocking Trump gets under his skin, so we need to use the same practices here. When he goes to Mar-a-Lago, protesters should display balloons like that along his whole route. Trump is a visual person, needing simple charts for his security briefings, so large mocking visuals like the baby balloon would be more effective than signs he doesnt read. I think a very large Putin balloon with a baby Trump on a puppet string would be fabulous!

(45,421 posts)and we can strip his US citizenship due to some irregularities with how his family came to America and their lack of proper documentation.
That's not a joke. These sorts of things happen to US born Americans whose parents came from non-white countries. Even many liberals think I'm "from" somewhere else and am stealing jobs. Just yesterday I got accused of stealing a job and not being a real American.

(32,627 posts)I don't know if anyone has seriously looked into this, but Cheeto's grandfather may have been an illegal immigrant. He came over from Germany, and lived for a few years out west, made money off the California Goldrush. Then he went back to Germany and got married but he was literally kicked out. He had left Germany at age 18 in order to avoid being drafted into the military and they used it as an excuse to disallow his re-entry.
So Grandpa Friedrich Trump brought his young wife back to America (I believe they came to Washington state,) and then relocated to Canada. All this happened without any travel visas, passports or change of citizenship. He owned what amounted to a brothel and made a ton of money from the Goldrush, and came back to the US a few years later. He eventually re-located to NY and became a naturalized citizen. This has all been documented in history books and on Wikipedia.
My point is that this guy lived fast and loose, flouted the law (and avoided taxes) when it was convenient, and showed no loyalty to any government in his lifetime. Whether or not Grandpa Trump lied when obtaining his naturalized citizenship should be determined by historians and immigration experts.
Donald's father Fred Trump Sr. was born on American soil, so there is no question of his citizenship. I would guess that his mother became naturalized when she married Fred. Mary Trump actually came over to find a husband, and planned on going back if she didn't find one.
Just sayin'

LONDON (AP) - The Latest on protests against President Donald Trump's visit to Britain (all times local):
3:15 p.m.
The last of the thousands of anti-Trump protesters in Edinburgh have arrived at The Meadows, a park in the Scottish capital where a giant balloon depicting President Donald Trump as an angry orange baby is floating in the air.
The 20-foot (6-meter) tall balloon has become a symbol of the protests against the U.S. president's first official visit to Britain. Many of the demonstrators carried placards bearing images of the "Baby Donald" balloon, along with the slogan "Dump Trump."
One protester, posing as Spider-Man, carried a placard reminding the president that "with power comes responsibility."
It took two hours for the march to weave its way through the city Saturday, much to the amusement of tourists and motorists, who beeped their horns in support.
The anti-Trump carnival spirit, complete with a choir, bagpiper and tambourine band, continued at the park with more speeches, poetry readings and music....................................................
