Presidential counselor Kellyanne Conway's husband isn't pulling any punches when it comes to his wife's boss.

George Conway - a longtime critic of Donald Trump - retweeted a Politico story with the headline 'European leaders do not think Trump is a stable genius' and wrote: 'What could possibly make them think that.'

Over the next few hours on Friday afternoon the attorney shared several tweets about the Department of Justice's indictment of 12 Russians for campaign hacking in the 2016 presidential election.

Meanwhile Kellyanne kept to her usual programming, retweeting support for Trump's Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

have their wet fingers in the air. George Conway was a young attorney going after Bill Clinton in the 90's. Now he's bashing Trump? He's nothing more than an opportunist, albeit a smart one. He knows which way the wind is blowing and he's positioning. From what I've read, he was involved in the impeachment of President Clinton. Personally , I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him.

One of the things that has cemented our marriage is our agreement in politics. the only time we had differences was during the 2016 primaries: I supported Bernie and he supported HRC. Of course, in the general I voted for her. But I wanted to be a voice of progressivism in the Dem party and my vote was part of that. A lot of my felllow CT Dem agreed with me.

It all worked out.
