Putin Denies Interfering In US Election, Offers To 'Analyze Together' Evidence
Source: Talking Points Memo
In a joint press conference after a one-on-one meeting, Russian Vladimir Putin, standing next to President Donald Trump, addressed the so-called Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. election on Monday, saying that Russia had never and would never tamper with American internal affairs.
Putin went on to offer his assistance in analyzing any specific material pertaining to Russian meddling that may come to light.
Any specific material, if such things arise, we are ready to analyze together, he said. For instance, we can analyze them through the joint working group on cyber security, the establishment of which we discussed during our previous contacts.
Trump addressed the election tampering in his opening comments as well, saying that President Putin may very well want to address it and very strongly, because he feels strongly about it. He has an interesting idea. He did not elaborate on the idea.

(1,142 posts)You need to understand the Magnitsky Act to understand why Putin is so determined to reset relations and end US sanctions
https://www.newsweek.com/who-bill-browder-694598
Bill Browder may seem like a mild-mannered financier, but he is, perhaps, nemesis number one for Russian President Vladimir Putin. The 53-year-old is the CEO of Hermitage Capital Management, once the largest foreign investor in Russia. But in 2006, the authorities kicked him out of the country, calling him a threat to national security.
The American-born hedge fund manager, however, claims he was booted for exposing corruption. Browders partner in that effort was his tax lawyer, Sergei Magnitsky, who was imprisoned and died behind bars. Browder says that the charges against his attorney were falseand that he was murdered. And in 2012, the financier became the driving force behind the Magnitsky Act, a U.S. law that slapped sanctions on Russian oligarchs, to Putins great ire.
Canada has since passed similar legislation, and Moscow convicted Browder of tax fraud in absentia. In October, the Kremlin put him on Interpols international police watch listand accused him of murdering Magnitsky. (Browder calls the charge absurd.) Either way, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security briefly banned him in late October after the Russians had him placed on the Interpol list. In a telephone interview from London, Browder spoke to Newsweek about Putin, corruption and his familys history with the American Communist Party.

(11,885 posts)Know they were caught , so now they are desperate to find out who the sources were that helped them get exposed so putin can eliminate them too. putins already done this to others who were possibly involved. This easily should be a high crime for trumps impeachment for treason conspiring with putin. Remember trump said all along its a hoax, a witch hunt, then blames President Obama after Friday the 12 russians were indicted. trump has committed treason openly now against this country, with the republican party backing him. The few real Americans left in the republican party should renounce their party as traitors and join the Democrats and turning the Senate now over to the Democrats for control, and away from Mitch McConnell who is also involved with trump and putin.
