Trump: Media only says I was 'rude' to NATO leaders, ignores 'the money'

Source: The Hill

BY JOE CONCHA - 07/17/18 11:21 AM EDT

President Trump on Tuesday took aim at media coverage of last week's NATO summit in Brussels, arguing that news outlets focused only on him being "rude to leaders" while ignoring "the money" members have pledged toward defense.

Trump threw the NATO summit into crisis mode last week, scolding allies for not spending enough on defense and reportedly raising doubts about whether he would withdraw the U.S. from the transatlantic alliance.

During a news conference before departing Brussels last Thursday, he said the U.S. remains committed to NATO and touted agreements for increased defense spending among members. “The United States' commitment to NATO is very strong, remains very strong,” he said. “Tremendous progress has been made. Everyone’s agreed to substantially up their commitment. They’re going to up it at levels that they’ve never thought of before,” he added, without providing specifics.

French President Emmanuel Macron, however, said that NATO allies would not increase defense spending beyond previously set goals.

They pointed out that the money was already promised in 2014 under the Obama Administration.

8. The media also pointed out Trump doesn't know that NATO members don't pay dues.

The 2014 agreement states goals for member spending on defense as a percentage of GDP. I would imagine Donnie Two Scoops couldn't even tell you how to calculate GDP, much less know what the letters mean. I also doubt he could tell you what the word Brexit means, or name the members of the EU. While we're at it, have him quote the Preamble of the U.S. Constitution.

Seriously, who the fuck tells the world, "I'm a very stable genius"?

When 1/2 the population doesn't even pay enough attention to know the US government is putting kids in cages at the border despite that story leading the nightly news on every channel for 2 weeks, how can you possibly argue the minutae of France's defense spending on NATO when cheetolini just makes some shit up and tweets it to the deplorables?

And he does not care, nor his fucked up party, the Republican party. They all live in a un-real world. Vote them out. And for the sake of the USA get rid of t-rump, his administration and all of the judges he has picked and which his party has approved upon. This election was stolen.

They conspired to tell you whatever the fuck nonsense you needed to hear to leave the room... As soon as you did waddle out, and after they all stopped making fun of you and laughing at you buffoon-like mannerisms, they started making plans to wait out your disaster of a presidency and contemplated ignoring the USA until sanity is restored and a functioning adult is installed in office.

You are a global punchline and a galactically stupid man-child who embarrasses EVERYONE tainted by association to yourself...I would say please kill yourself as an act of seppuku, but you are utterly without value, real worth (not "net worth", which even THAT is dubious with you) and without honor. The second you actually do die, the world instantly improves by an order of magnitude.

The Europeans (including Brits, Scots, Irish) are tired of being polite to him and then getting kicked for it.
I think Cheeto got about as far as he can go with that schtick.
He'd better learn some manners, or just stay home from now on.
