Court rules against Trump admin on transgender military ban

An appeals court on Wednesday ruled against the Trump administration and upheld a court order stalling a ban on transgender individuals serving in the military.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit blocked implementation of the ban, which was first announced by President Trump last year. The court's move enables transgender people to continue enlisting in the military.

The administration had filed a motion to stay the preliminary injunction granted by a lower court in December 2017.

The 9th Circuit ruling holds that the stay requested by the administration “would upend, rather than preserve, the status quo,” which currently allows transgender people to serve.

What the fascist don't understand is the simple constitutional fact that they can't rob liberty from one group of Americans because they "hate". The constitution doesn't allow that! Fact.

They either believe in the Constitution or they don't.

They can't exclude citizens.

I attended PRIDE in my area my friend who is trans and served in the Army. He wore a t-shirt that said:

Trans Veteran
I FOUGHT FOR YOUR RIGHT TO HATE ME

He was rightfully mobbed with compassion and thanks for his service to our country. And he worries every day if/when his veteran benefits will be taken away. #notright
