Trump Proposes Mueller Interview With No Obstruction Questions

President Donald Trump would agree to an interview with Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigators if it’s limited to questions on whether his presidential campaign colluded with Russia in the 2016 election, lawyer Rudy Giuliani said on Monday night.

Trump is demanding in return that he isn’t asked questions about obstruction of justice in the probe into election interference, under a proposal the president’s legal team submitted to Mueller, Giuliani said.

The president’s legal team is concerned that Mueller and his staff might believe witnesses who contradicted Trump’s account, such as former FBI Director James Comey, Giuliani said. That could leave the president vulnerable to a perjury charge, he added.

Mueller hasn’t yet responded to the proposal, Giuliani, a former mayor of New York, said on Monday.

Trump thinks he dictates what investigators and the courts can and cannot do. It's always worked for him before, but it's not going to work for him this time. Little Donnie is used to ordering around local New York judges and lawyers. His celebrity in New York has always guaranteed that they treat him with kid gloves. With Mueller, the gloves are off. Little Donnie is up against a type of law he's never had to endure before, and he - and his lawyers - are getting a little paranoid over it. That makes a whole bunch of "little people" Trump has screwed over in the past, very happy!

Trump is finally going to be held accountable for his words and actions. And no, it isn't just you, concerning Ghouliani. Many pundits believe Ghouliani should be sent back to New York and be kept from commenting on anything to do with Trump. He serves no purpose on Trump's defense other than appearing on talk show after talk show, and always seemingly making things worse for Trump by flapping his huge jowls much too much.
