PHILADELPHIA (CBS) .........................................
The women were dressed in red outside of The Union League where Pence is part of a private fundraising event for Rep. Lou Barletta, who is running for Senate in Pennsylvania. The red cloaks symbolize female suppression as the women are protesting in silence with their heads down.........................
Earlier on Monday, Pence was at the Sheraton Hotel in Center City as he spoke as part of the 20th stop of the America First Tour which focuses on tax cuts for businesses and employees.
Over 6 million Americans have already have already received pay raises and bonuses and bigger benefits, said Pence.
...................................................
About 250 supporters attended who were in favor of the tax bill and the opportunities Trump has given to women in the White House............
The president has a lot of women on his staff, said one supporter. I dont think people arent giving him credit for what hes doing.

(43,146 posts)This is where Trump reached in 2016, deep into ethnic rural/small city Pennsylvania
Educating voters is the key here. Also Senator Bob Casey cannot be demonized the way HRC was. Still those ethnics worry me.

(128,908 posts)is that we also have a gubernatorial race, and so that tends to increase turnout from blue areas.
Casey still has strong name-recognition (due to his father having been governor) and has a strong moderate D/I supporter constituency. But as for any race here, it will require that extra turnout to make it so.
