GOP lawmakers introduce articles of impeachment against Rosenstein

Source: The Hill

A group of conservative House lawmakers on Wednesday introduced articles of impeachment against Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, the top Department of Justice (DOJ) official overseeing special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation.

...........

Conservative members led by Reps. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.) and Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), along with 9 cosponsors, introduced articles of impeachment against Rosenstein shortly after a meeting with Justice Department officials concerning document production.

"For 9 months we’ve warned them consequences were coming, and for 9 months we’ve heard the same excuses backed up by the same unacceptable conduct. Time is up and the consequences are here. It’s time to find a new Deputy Attorney General who is serious about accountability and transparency,” Meadows said in a statement.

“Multiple times we’ve caught DOJ officials hiding information from Congress, withholding relevant documents, or even outright ignoring Congressional subpoenas—and now we have evidence that Mr. Rosenstein signed off on a document using unverified political opposition research as a cornerstone of a FISA application to spy on an American citizen working for the Trump campaign," Meadows continued.

Impeachment happens in the House only but really has no consequences.

The issue is whether there is a motion to "table" like was done when Rep. Al Green presented Articles of Impeachment against Drumpf.

The statement saying the opposition research was a cornerstone of the FISA application was proven to be false. The FISA judges were all Republican appointees that continued to approve the requests.

Whoever signs onto this impeachment letter are setting themselves up for interesting questions with respect to loyalty, partisanship, and potentially aiding in obstruction of justice.

Rosenstein needs to be removed so that he can be replaced with someone who will fire Mueller, and Trump is making his House lackeys the executioners.

We’re witnessing the Wednesday Night Massacre here, the only difference being, it will take longer, and it’s being done with Congressional proxies.

But, there is absolutely no doubt that Trump is behind this.

Gowdy and Goodlatte did not sign on to the resolution and Ryan already said he won't bring up for vote so it is going nowhere. Only worry is that Trump could get buggy enough to go over edge and fire Rosenstein using the grounds stated in the resolution.

So there's no requirement for a vote and Ryan hasn't signed onto this open treason, yet.

The only treasonous conservatives I've been able to identify are:
Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH)
Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC)

Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ)
Rep. Scott Perry (R-PA)
Rep. Paul A. Gosar, D.D.S. (R-AZ)
Rep. Jody Hice (R-GA)
Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL)
Rep. Scott DesJarlais (R-TN)

But the two tRump traitors Jordan and Meadows say there are nine other co-sponsors. Nowhere have I found where they list all nine.

The republican party or the trump loyalist party is dead. They'll be indicted before its over they will be regretting doing this , and to themselves. The American people will take back both the House , and the Senate, then they'll be held accountable and be found guilty for their crimes, and conspiring to carry them out. Justice for these people in the House will come after them , and they will be in deep trouble . Justice will prevail even with their obstruction of justice to hurt or delay, or stop the Mueller investigation. They're digging themselves into a deep , deep hole now. Where are real republicans who are loyal to this country and the American people. Conspiring to commit criminal acts is illegal, especially for protection from prosecution of their russian installed overlords.
