The president, on his third trip to the state since the 2016 election, will attend a roundtable discussion on workforce development.

..............................

The president was last in Iowa in June 2017, when he toured an agriculture program at Kirkwood Community College and held a raucous rally in downtown Cedar Rapids.

Several groups plan to protest Trump administration's policies outside the college, including NextGen Iowa, Progress Iowa, Indivisible Iowa, and Americans for Democratic Action.

"From separating families at the US-Mexico border to starting a trade war with China, President Trump’s policies have horrified and hurt young Iowans," NextGen Iowa officials said in a prepared statement. The organization is working to register young Iowans to vote.

If I hear anyone who is suffering under his fucked up, unlawful and un-American decrees and still supports him they get no sympathy from me. Period. They deserve it (and in spades)! Dumber than a sack of rocks!

Give me a break Trumpette aka Gov Reynolds she has done everything to negatively impact workforce development by cutting funding to education programs, elimination of collectively bargaining, and big business handouts. I'm so sick and tired of the focus on workforce development that's only talk and the true issue is the reduction of the apprentice programs via the Unions beginning in the late 1980's. They wonder why we don't have a skilled workforce in Iowa ... C'mon you morons it's based on your terrible policies.

BTW the Community College is a public institution and the meetings are a violation of the open meetings law.

have abruptly stopped. Zero imports The price has dropped $2 a bushel...soybean farmers alone will lose 24 billion a year just on the price drop! One crop!

Meanwhile I read Chinese freighters are already loading up on extra orders of Canadian soybeans at a premium price over Chicago market prices and Canada expects to sell every grain of every cereal crop they have to China it can harvest. At premium prices.

Also South American farmers are rejoicing...so there is a silver lining...just not for America or American taxpayers.

So much winning...just not here.
