Lawyers for former Trump campaign chair Paul Manafort filed court papers Thursday asking a federal judge in Virginia to exclude more than 50 pieces of evidence the government has said it may introduce at trial related to Manafort's previous work in Ukraine. But the filing includes copies of all the exhibits Manafort doesn't want a jury to see.
The cache of documents largely includes emails and memos about campaign strategy and activities on behalf of former Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych, Manafort's former client. It also includes photos of Yanukovych that special counsel Robert Mueller's office said were taken at Manafort's direction, draft political speeches, and memos about USUkraine relations.
Tad Devine, a senior adviser to Bernie Sanders in 2016 and a longtime Democratic aide, worked in Ukraine with Manafort and Manafort's former associate Rick Gates and appears in a series of exhibits that provide rich detail about the work the Americans were doing there. Gates was originally charged with Manafort, but has since pleaded guilty and agreed to cooperate with Mueller's office.

(4,317 posts)everyone here needs to know and remember. In the 2010 Ukraine election, Yulia Tymoshenko was the other candidate. They railroaded her campaign in the same style they did with Hillary's campaign. There were even chants of "lock her up" or something very close to that throughout Ukraine. And guess what? After the election they did lock her up:

Putin wanted Yulia gone along with Ukraine's orange revolution and Hillary too. The similarities between the elections is glaring and striking. And oh, who was U.S. Secretary of State in 2010? I'll give you one guess. Please pass this information along. It helps complete more of the picture.
Putin never was and will never be a friend to the United States. It is past time for all patriots to unite for country.

(11,882 posts)Pretty stupid if he doesn't turn now and get into the witness protection program before others get to him . He knows to much to make it long in prison, and knows the people after him are some pretty dangerous people, and they're coming for him. He may be having mental issues now knowing all this. He doesn't look well.
