Venting about press, Trump has repeatedly sought to ban reporters over questions

Source: WaPo

President Trump has sought repeatedly to punish journalists for the way they ask him questions, directing White House staff to ban those reporters from covering official events or to revoke their press credentials, according to several current and former administration officials.

At various moments throughout his presidency, Trump has vented angrily to aides about what he considers disrespectful behavior and impertinent questions from reporters in the Oval Office and in other venues. He has also asked that retaliatory action be taken against them.

“These people shouting questions are the worst,” Trump has said, according to a current official. “Why do we have them in here?”

Until this week, the officials said, Trump’s senior aides have resisted carrying out his directives. They convinced him that moves to restrict media access could backfire and further strain the White House’s fraught relationship with the press corps, whose members the president routinely derides as “fake news” and “dishonest people.”

You are not those reporters' boss...you are not the other White House employees' boss...you are not our boss. YOU are the employee. You thought you could operate like you do at your snake-oil sales company; threaten, coerce, and bribe your way out of all your problems.

You thought all this was a lark...you'd run for office and you could get a few more money laundries in the Middle East and Russia...maybe even Malaysia. Well now, has it sunk in that the office or president doesn't mean being boss of all America? It just means you're the head toilet cleaner drawing a paycheck like every other schmuck.

Now we're going to see your taxes, you stupid f*ck. Now we're going to see evidence of all your playing fast and loose with the rules and the law and all the money-laundering. All you had to do was stay in NY and shut the f*ck up, but no...you wanted to be a big shot. Now you'll spend the rest of your life in court or in jail...probably right along side most of your family.

Am I right? HE should be allowed to denigrate everything he sees to puff himself up, so he can use the puffery to tear everyone down who disagrees with him

Reporters have struck a nerve. Drip, drip, drip. It's encouraging to me that there's friction there, and that dedicated journalists just doing their jobs are able to annoy a propagandist. Reporters can do this for months, Trump better get used to it. Reporters are career professionals with unwavering ethics, the POTUS is a washed-up reality TV actor masquerading as president.

Someone said about Trump, "Does it hurt for him to take a shower with such thin skin?"

Is allowed to continue his promotion of Joseph Goebbels propaganda strategy onto the public by attacking free speech , and the free press, and many other groups , it will put many in jeopardy of losing the truth , and instead being conned into believing his false reality , and that he's to always be believed when faced with the truth. This is why he has 30% of the American people believing his propaganda. It worked for him and Hitler and trumps and putin are using these tactics. Their propaganda won't work as much if they don't attack the truth, their biggest enemy.

And frankly, the questions are usually pretty lame.

How about yelling, "Mr. President, why do you lie about every single fucking thing!?"

Ok, leave out the "fucking".

Or, "Mr. President, why do you have to be such a DICK about everything!?"
