Paul Ryan’s Hypocritical Attack on Barack Obama

Source: bloomberg.com

Paul Ryan forcefully attacked the Obama Administration tonight. But many of the criticisms he leveled against Barack Obama apply equally to his and Mitt Romney’s own records.
Ryan attacked Obama’s Patient Protection Affordable Care Act for being laden with “mandates, taxes, fees and fines that have no place in a free country.” He was talking about mandates such as the one Mitt Romney imposed in Massachusetts.
Ryan decried “$716 billion funneled out of Medicare by President Obama. An obligation we have to our parents and grandparents is being sacrificed, all to pay for a new entitlement we didn’t even ask for.” But the budget House Republicans passed this year, which Paul Ryan wrote, keeps Barack Obama’s Medicare cuts and adds another $205 billion on top.

All I keep hearing from Republicans is Obama this, Obama that. Not one of them can give me a single reason for actually voting for Wall Street Willard.

I should not have been surprised that he got up there and claimed to be the savior of Medicare, but he did and he did.

Now let's see if the media rolls over and shows its tummies or calls him a liar, as they ought.

It was what he didn't tell them that they need to be convinced of -- the privatizing of the Medicare and Social Security programs. But until the Democratic convention they won't listen.

Ryan pushed the necessary emotional buttons, provided style, boldness, humor, religion and personal goodness for their admiration and inspiration. The rhetoric accomplished its mission for solidifying party support.

After Romney's Big Leadership Speech, and nothing we say here will undo any of it.

The main thing now is that the Democrats better sell the Medicare, Social Security and economic future vision better!!

dems did nothing to explain, what it really is, til now. Obama is as guilty as anyone there, but the dem leaders have to pile on the truth as the repugs lie, and be passionate about it, not defensive. They have to expose a long standing lie that has been allowed to become accepted as fact. They have to expose the reason for Obamas so called failures, repig meeting to obstruct Obamas every move, to create jobs even if some are repigs own proposals, just to deny O any success. Oath to Norquist over oath of office,to deny means of increasing revenue to achieve balance budget and repig voter suppression to defeat dem agenda.
Don't forget the repigs ran on jobs in 2010 and got in, and voted over thirty times to abolish AMC then voted against womens issues, refused to vote on jobs bill. People who lost their jobs, homes, insurance just to defeat O should really be up in arms.
