Amid the final round of downpours streaming across the northeastern United States, a possible tornado caused damage in northeastern Connecticut and eastern Massachusetts on Saturday morning.
A thunderstorm capable of causing a tornado tracked from northeastern Connecticut into eastern Massachusetts, southwest of Boston.
The storm initially downed trees in parts of Woodstock, Connecticut, on Saturday morning, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) office in Boston.
Significant damage was then reported in Dudley and Webster, Massachusetts.
