Get ready for "Star Wars: The Sidewalk Strikes Back."

Following news that the West Hollywood City Council voted on Monday to call for the removal of Donald Trump's oft-vandalized star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, "Star Wars" actor Mark Hamill came forth to offer a replacement for the space: His deceased co-star, Carrie Fisher.

"How about replacing it with someone who really earned it? Like @carrieffisher," Hamill tweeted in response to the news.

While Hamill was honored with his own Walk of Fame star in March, and Trump scored a spot on the walkway in 2007, a search of the Walk of Fame's database reveals no such distinction for Fisher, who died in December 2016 at age 60.
