McCaskill says Trump tariffs could affect business beyond farm, even price of beer

McCaskills Boulevard stop came hours after the Missouri Farm Bureau endorsed her opponent, Missouri Attorney General Josh Hawley, a Republican.
Josh Hawley has continuously proven his leadership and dedication to the people of Missouri by taking on the big and the powerful, but even better, he has proven he is dedicated to protecting our farms and family businesses, said Blake Hurst, the organizations president.
The Missouri Farm Bureaus release mentioned Hawleys litigation to roll back Obama-era water regulations, but made no mention of its concerns about trade tensions.
In a statement, Hawley said Trump was right to try to get better trade terms for America and Missouri.

Thus causing the small farmers to organize against the Farm Bureau.
I believe perhaps back in the early 60's small independent farmers, fearing corporate farm takeovers of their livelyhood through Republican politics, organized and became The National Farmers Union.
They were successful as a voting block by electing Democratic candidates to local, State & Federal offices who would fight on their behalf.
This Republican big money corporatization has been going on forever.
Hawley better not be elected.
Hawley & Trump would be the death of smaller farmers/ranchers.
It would signal a boon to big corporations with fewer regulations & plenty of high $$$ payouts.
McCaskill Has To Win This Race. Much is at stake.
