Trump: 'It's Very Sad What They've Done To Paul Manafort'

Source: Talking Points Memo

By Nicole Lafond | August 17, 2018 11:04 am

President Donald Trump on Friday expressed sympathy for his former campaign chairman Paul Manafort while a jury at a federal court in Virginia deliberates the case.

“I don’t talk about that now,” Trump said from the South Lawn when asked an inaudible question about Manafort. “I think the whole Manafort trial is very sad. When you look at what’s going on there, I think it’s a very sad day for our country. He worked for me for a very short period of time. And you know what? He happens to be a very good person. I think it’s very sad what they’ve done to Paul Manafort.”

The jury is currently deliberating whether Manafort is guilty of financial fraud crimes related to his use of foreign bank accounts.

You can tell he's lying when he talks about love, compassion, beauty, goodness, etc.

All the hate, evil, attacks, ugly, that's when you can take him at his word.

Love to play poker against him. Let some air out of that overfull o farts orange balloon.

He's a clown, but not scary like those woods clowns or pennywise.

He's a career criminal who has gotten caught for his crimes , that should be a relief but not for trump , his close friend of 30 years plus. He's already projecting how unfairly he's being treated, FOR COMMITTING CRIMES! Only another criminal would do that, which trump is. trump has to con his supporters into believing a criminal shouldn't be punished. He ran a s a law and order candidate, but he is the opposite of that. He's the lawless and corrupt candidate where his friends and family and himself should be above the rule of law, but not for those that don't support him, they're guilty as hell, then should receive the harshest penalties. Manifort is a really , really bad guy , and trump supports him now, still. Hmmmmm.
