National business group goes after McCaskill in new TV ad
Source: St Louis Post Dispatch
In the ad, the chamber said the tax cuts have resulted in savings for Missourians, an uptick in jobs and employee bonuses at some companies.
But Senator Claire McCaskill didnt want it, voting against all the good thats happening, the ad notes.
Republicans have pushed the tax cuts as economy-spurring relief for taxpayers at all income levels. But McCaskill and all the other Democrats in Congress voted against it.
In addition to attacking the measure as being tilted toward the rich, McCaskill has said the estimated $1.5 trillion loss in federal revenue over the next decade will force Republicans to cut safety net programs.
