North Korea newspaper blasts 'double-dealing' U.S. after Pompeo's trip canceled

North Koreas state-controlled newspaper on Sunday accused the United States of double-dealing and hatching a criminal plot against Pyongyang, after Washington abruptly canceled a visit by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
Negotiations have been all but deadlocked since U.S. President Donald Trumps summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Singapore in June.
North Koreas Rodong Sinmun newspaper said U.S. special units based in Japan were staging an air drill aimed at the infiltration into Pyongyang, citing a South Korean media outlet.
Such acts prove that the U.S. is hatching a criminal plot to unleash a war against the DPRK and commit a crime which deserves merciless divine punishment in case the U.S. fails in the scenario of the DPRKs unjust and brigandish denuclearisation first, the paper said

If I'm to be objective and at least give him credit for the economy (at least not thusfar absolutely destroying it) and for getting his tax plan passed, what accomplishments do they speak of? His tax plan was no real challenge considering control of congress. As for the economy, well he inherited a booming economy, not much of an accomplishment there. I just don't see all these things trump is accomplishing except in every turn destroying the very social fabric of America and as well diminishing the standing of America in the world. If republicans could be be honest with themselves even in comparing trump to "W" they'd have to conclude he's a complete putz.

That would be suprising to me inasmuch as the Ambassador is the former PACOM commander.
Maybe it means they don't answer questions on the weekend.
