Trump is so eager to pardon Paul Manafort he’s reportedly considering hiring a new White House counsel

President Donald Trump is so adamant about possibly pardoning Paul Manafort that he’s mulling hiring a new White House counsel since the current one is strongly opposed to the idea, according to a report Monday.

Two people familiar with the matter told Vanity Fair that Trump has been feuding with Don McGahn over drafting a pardon for Manafort, the president’s former campaign chairman who was convicted on a laundry list of fraud charges last week.

McGahn — who recently made headlines amid revelations he’s been cooperating extensively with special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigators — is strongly against the idea of pardoning Manafort, according to the sources. Consequently, Trump has reportedly been telling officials he may bring in a new lawyer to carry out the task.

“He really at this point does not care,” one of the sources said. “He would rather fight the battle.”

counsel to M. Cohen, P. Manafort, G. Papadopolous, R. Gates, M. Flynn, Mr. and Mrs. Duncan Hunter, that other guy, first to support dumbfuck, I forget his name, but he has a lawyer, too

Does D. Pecker have a lawyer, and his pal Dylan? I guess. Does Allen Weisselberg have a lawyer? If so, you can’t have that one either

Maybe Keith Davidson can help you out? You know, the lawyer who turned over the Stormy vase to Cohen (along with the Karen McDonaugh and Shera Becher cases)?

Say, looks like your pal Dershy could use a gig - ?

At any rate, just DO IT YA FKN IDIOT

A blockbuster tell-all slinging shovels of mud? He needs the money as much as the pardon. That way gets both.

And by accepting the pardon waives his right to take the fifth amendment. As for writing any book, I'm not really sure. Some of our legal experts would have to weigh in on that.

McGahan was supposed to show up, say "Trump's an angel. No collusion, no collusion. Witch hunt." Then leave. Instead, he spoke with the Mueller team for 30 hours.

"You're Fired!"

(He doesn't need WH counsel's approval for pardons. That's an excuse he's found for firing him.)
