White House press secretary Sarah Sanders would not offer any assurances that President Trump will allow the special counsel investigation to continue without delay if Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein exits the Justice Department, telling "Good Morning

Asked by ABC News chief anchor George Stephanopoulos whether the president has confidence in Rosenstein, Sanders replied: “The president has confidence in the system.”

“That’s not what I asked,” Stephanopoulos responded.

“I’m not going to get ahead of the conversation that’s going to take place, certainly he wants things to take place,” Sanders said of Trump's upcoming meeting with Rosenstein. “There have been a number of incidents that have caused a great deal of concern, not just to the president but to Americans all over the country.”

Sanders repeatedly expressed her view that Robert Mueller’s investigation should wrap up soon because she said he has found nothing that relates directly to the president. .....................................................

1. Is the FBI supposed to wrap up every investigation that has nothing to do with the President?

What kind of rationale is that? The probe is finding criminals and getting pleas/convictions.

Like a stinking broken record (do young people even know what "records" were? ). It convinces his fawning cult members, and those are the only people tRump cares about (and the wealthy goes without saying).

November can't get here fast enough. Contingency plans should be laid if we can't grab the House or Senate, and by that I mean Mueller going full throttle or Avenatti going to court. Our government is under foreign occupation and we are being lied to every minute. Americans go by labels, and they think nothing has changed.

Why? 1) They prove their guilt and --

2) Should they succeed, do they really think the American experiment will just keep ticking forward, unconcerned? Really? Do they REALLY THINK THEY CAN DERAIL THE LAW AND SEIZE THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AS THEIR PERSONAL FIEFDOM? Do they imagine that they somehow survive the ensuing chaos?

Do they not realize that if they succeed for a moment they will truly fail in the end? -- perhaps they don't. These experiments in Fake Law (I get to choose my own judge, see? Because racism!) are characteristic of animals caught in a trap, not steely-eyed thoughtful conspirators. These are bad, stupid criminals growing more desperate every day.

Some days it seems like they're 'winning' -- they know their optics, like any good crocodile. But they should have got out early and slinked away, because none of their ridiculous schemes will save them from what's coming. The end game is merciless for them. All of them.

Merciless.

I revel in their overconfident overreach. Hilarious.
