Minnesota Congressman Keith Ellison told WCCO Radio that he's reconsidering his position with the DNC as he continues to fight to back allegations of abuse
Keith Ellison is running for Minnesota Attorney General and has been defending himself against accusations made by his ex-girlfriend, Karen Monahan, that he physically and emotionally abused her in 2016. During an interview Wednesday with Dave Lee on the Morning News, he said he is considering stepping down from his position as co-chair of the Democratic National Committee,
"You know, I've been evaluating that recently so we'll see," Ellison said. "I need to put 100% of my time, energy and resources into the race and my office, so it is something I am considering."
Ellison also responded to an internal report by attorney Susan Ellingstad, who was hired by the Minnesota DFL party to look into the allegations.
