John Bolton says Putin invited to visit Washington in early 2019

Source: The Hill

President Trump's national security adviser John Bolton announced Friday that Russian President Vladimir Putin has been invited to visit Washington, D.C. early next year.

Bolton said that Putin would be invited “after the first of the year” at a press conference in Georgia on Friday, according to a report by Fox News.

“We have invited President Putin to Washington after the first of the year for, basically, a full day of consultations,” Bolton said. “What the scheduling of that is we don’t quite know yet.”

Trump asked Bolton in July to set up a second summit with Putin after the leaders met in Helsinki, Finland.

Putin’s visit the White House would mark the first time that the Russian president has visited since George W. Bush was in office, Fox News reported.

His goal is to now take us to war against Iran. This has been the neo-cons goal for the last forty years. The group who wrote the PNAC's position paper had this as the ultimate goal after the defeat of Iraq. Their abysmal failure to accurately predict the results of Iraq war, i.e., that it would be short and leave us in control of their oil fields, is testimony as to the idiocy of Bolton and his fascist friends. The first step was the repeal of the Iran nuclear agreement in which they thought that other signatories who follow their lead and Iran would restart their program giving them the ultimate excuse to begin bombardment of their country. They are desperately attempting to spread outright lies in order to restart their program to destroy Iran's military resources. Bolton and his cronies are determined to control the Middle East oil supplies with the objective of making them subservient to the oligarchy's control.

This piece of shit should not be inviting anyone to anything. If he and the orange asshole want to kiss pootin's ass, let them go to their homeland, Russia.

Actually officially inviting the authoritarian, basically a dictator, leader of the country that every intelligent agency concluded interfered with your democratic election. Furthermore, the administration that invited him, was the beneficiary of that interference. And by a President that has a murky financial relationship with that countries oligarchy.

Another new 'normal'.

Then the strings he pulls to make Trump jump through all his hoops would be a lot shorter than pulling them from Moscow.

Plus the winters in D.C. are milder.
