Kremlin: Trump, Putin did not discuss missile treaty in Paris

President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin did not discuss a Cold War-era missile treaty, which the U.S. plans to withdraw from, while the two were in Paris on Sunday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told Interfax.

According to the Russian news agency, Trump and Putin spoke briefly while they were both in Paris for the 100th anniversary of Armistice Day.

Trump confirmed last month that the U.S. planned to withdraw from the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF), which was agreed to during the Cold War.

The treaty was signed by former President Reagan and Soviet Union President Mikhail Gorbachev in 1987.
