L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti Won't Run for President, Sources Tell Politico

Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti will not run in the 2020 presidential election, sources told Politico on Tuesday.

The mayor was considering making the bid for months.

He was scheduled to have a news conference at 5 p.m.

It is.
And the smaller the city the less experience you get from it
I live in LA with Garcetti
I like him and I voted for him
But I don’t think any mayor of this city would be qualified to run the country
And this is one of the biggest there is in this country
he’s very ambitious but he should really wait and run for a state office first or a Senate seat like Kamala Harris’s after she gets elected president.

that require attention. The last thing the city needs is an absentee mayor off campaigning for President. I'm glad he's staying put.
