Romney Heckled Over Libya Remarks

Source: Bayou Buzz

FAIRFAX, Va. - Mitt Romney today was drowned out by a protester at a campaign event yelling at him for "politicizing Libya ." The protester was so persistent that Romney was unable to hold a moment of silence in honor of those killed in the incident.

"I would offer a moment of silence but one gentleman doesn't want to be silent, so we're going to keep on going," Romney said at the very beginning of a rally in Virginia this morning.

The man started shouting at Romney just as he began to offer his condolences to the four Americans killed in Libya. Romney said, "We have heavy hearts across America today."

The protester interrupted, shouting, "Why are you politicizing Libya? Why are you politicizing Libya?"

You don't get a do-over Romney. Not after that smirk followed by a double-down. Even today Romney surrogates are using the line that appeasement is what triggered the demonstrations in Egypt and the killings in Libya. You can take your "heavy heart" and shove it where the sun doesn't shine.

terry jones and the meth-cooker bacile or what ever his name is, triggered a lot of this unrest because of perceived insult to a major religion, and allowed enemies of our country an opening with the distraction of the religious rioting, to launch attacks against our embassy's and kill our people. They are just as responsible for those murders as any enemy of our country. Something needs to be done with these two. Some kind of charges of collusion with the enemy. Something! And robme, he's just a sick socio-pathic opportunist who is going DOWN!

What a disgusting creep. His advisors have obviously not told him to wipe the smile/smirk off his face while he's offering condolences. Did I mention he's a disgusting creep?

whatever form it manifests itself, including mathematical, can be an expression of an older form of human consciousness that, at least in theory, all of us share and it is therefore also nourishing, just like a good pie.

I don't care how many crocodile tears he sheds, or condolences he TRIES to make now, he's tainted. He's been seen for what he is. A soulless and ruthless creep who doesn't care who he hurts in pursuit of the ambition he's held forever. I truly believe that he feels somehow that this is his destiny, that he is entitled to it.

The moment of silence comment was probably bullshit... as a way to politicize the heckler even further.

Eggs-zactly-sir.

Just because most everyone hates every fiber of that man's body and everything he try's to BS everyone about does not mean that he should go on. He and his party need to know that is nothing he can do that will change the opposition.

But imo he had no intention of actually doing that; it was just a cheap throwaway line. The man is a creep.
