House Judiciary chair calls on Mueller to testify before committee
Source: The Hill
Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.), the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, on Monday said that counsel Robert Mueller should testify in front of the committee.
Nadler's call for Mueller to testify before the committee comes after Rep. Doug Collins (R-Ga.), the top Republican on the committee, urged Nadler earlier on Monday to have Mueller testify.
"Today, Ranking Member Collins called for Special Counsel Mueller to appear before @HouseJudiciary. I fully agree," Nadler said in a tweet. "Special Counsel Mueller should come before the Committee to answer questions in public about his 22 month investigation into President Trump and his associates."

(3,050 posts)While I love that we are so trusting to let Muller (Repuke) and Rosenstien (Repuke) investigate Tru$$ia and then ensure the repukes are playing honest. I think its a setup. Why else would the Repuke call for it more Nadler? Have Barr and Rosenstien all as well. what the fuck / attack these treasonous bastards!
Looks like another setup. Go for the eyes and the private parts. Quick playing around!

(42,703 posts)Mueller is going to feel constrained not to discuss anything that he thinks may be redacted unless and until a court rules that the Committee can have access to such matter.

(790 posts)Whatever the constraints on Congress members may be about asking for material that may be in Mueller's report if Barr has not yet released it or redacted it into oblivion, getting a full record of the communication between Barr's office and Mueller's, also between Rosenstein's and Mueller's, is crucial. All Barr and Rosenstein were required to cite was any instance in which they denied a request from the special prosecutor - nothing about communications from either of them. I have a hard time believing that a special prosecutor would issue a report of his findings while the grand jury that he convened was still in session. That is what I want to hear about. Every last word and tiny innuendo from the AG's office to the special prosecutor's.
