Trump Today: President announces he's pulling U.S. from arms treaty during campaign-style speech to

Source: Marketwatch

President Donald Trump used a speech to the National Rifle Association to announce he’s revoking U.S. support for a treaty regulating the global arms trade, as he also hailed first-quarter economic growth figures and took another swipe at Joe Biden.

U.S. OUT OF U.N. TREATY

During a wide-ranging, campaign-style speech to the National Rifle Association’s annual meeting, Trump told the gun group’s members the U.S. would quit the Arms Trade Treaty, which was signed by President Barack Obama but never ratified by the Senate.

“We’re taking our signature back,” Trump told attendees of the meeting in Indianapolis. He said he would soon notify the United Nations that the U.S. would withdraw from the treaty, which regulates trade in conventional arms, from small arms to tanks and aircraft. The NRA has argued the treaty threatens gun rights in the U.S.

It was the latest instance of Trump quitting an international treaty, with some other notable examples being the Iran nuclear deal and the Paris climate agreement.

Putin is acting as intermediary between US & NoKo so war is unlikely with those. China is flourishing due to hundreds of Billions trade surplus with us so unlikely to begin a war. The current sanctions on major Iran oil buyers such as China & India & others, is making Iran desperate & angry. So this step by Trump could be a precursor to war with Iran. That is what Trump's buddy Netantahu wants as well.

A look at who he associates with on the world stage says a lot about who he is. Kim and Russia are forming a new alliance - why? If we are not scared yet, we are asleep at the wheel. Repeating what we already know, tRump has got to go, the sooner the better!

He is paying them for the NRA spending in the election. There are hundreds of thousands of criminals and terrorists around the world looking to buy guns, and the NRA's controllers want to sell them.
