Pelosi On Trump Attacking Her On D-Day: 'I Felt Really Sorry For Him'

Source: TPM

June 13, 2019 7:31 pm

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said on Thursday evening that she felt “really sorry” for President Donald Trump when he attacked her on D-Day.

Pelosi told CNN reporter Fareed Zakaria that it’s a “practice” to never criticize the President overseas and indicated that it would’ve especially wrong to do so in front of the tombstones at Normandy.

“When he came on later in front of the same tombstones and started saying all of this stuff, it was so beyond inappropriate I felt really sorry for him,” the House speaker said.

He can't get riled over impeachment if no one is talking about it, and at the same time he does not understand that everything the House is doing with hearings, gathering documents, etc IS part of the impeachment process,
Folks who get all impatient about how slow the House is moving do not seem to understand that impeachment is a process, not an event.

I am also hearing her focusing on the theme of him not being fit to serve.
That is actually an issue the Republicans could accept. trump is becoming an albatross around their necks as the election draws nearer, and 25th amendment would offer them a lot more protection than if they supported impeachment.
Getting him out is the goal. If she chooses the right time, she can bargain for the 25t.

Every time he opens his fat mouth, more people are getting fed up with him.
This supposed ship "attack" is being met with scorn and distrust, more of his inner circle is leaving or under attack...
it is all progress.

I don't think he's had experience dealing with the likes of Speaker Pelosi. Cool, Calm, and Collected must drive him nuts.

Hardly a worse thing you can say to an egomaniac like Trump than you feel sorry for him.

Pelosi's calculated, edgy remarks are wasted on a lawless shithead like trump---as long as he's not facing payback in the form of impeachment hearings, he's going to believe he's winning, and his idiot supporters will believe likewise.
