Bolton: Sanctions, other pressure will bring Iran to bargaining table

Source: The Hill

BY RACHEL FRAZIN - 06/25/19 07:54 AM EDT

President Trump's national security adviser, John Bolton, said Tuesday that new U.S. sanctions and other pressure are likely to bring Iran to the negotiating table.

“They’ll either get the point or ... we will simply enhance the maximum pressure campaign further,” he told reporters in Jerusalem after meeting with Russian and Israeli officials, according to Reuters. “It will be, I think, the combination of sanctions and other pressure that does bring Iran to the table.”

U.S. disarmament ambassador Robert Wood also said Tuesday that the U.S. does not plan to initiate a conflict against Iran, the news service reported.

“We will not initiate a conflict against Iran, nor do we intend to deny Iran the right to defend its airspace but if Iran continues to attack us, our response will be decisive,” he said at the Conference on Disarmament in Geneva.

Hows about we hook up a car battery to your nutz and crank up the volume so you can agree to some worthless claim at your expense? That's the equivalent of your intentions with Iran and anyone your want to bomb into oblivion.

Fucking assbite.

The last time Iran signed a treaty with the US,
Trump tore it up.

Why would they trust him again?

Isn't it already at "maximum"? And why should they "come to the table" with you when the preznit has already shown that agreements mean nothing to him?

Like that

I'm guessing Iran will wait to see if a sane person takes office in 2020.
