Texas Republican slammed for saying he wants his bank to finance for-profit child detention

On Wednesday, Bank of America announced that it would no longer finance companies that do business with the for-profit prison industry, including private migrant detention facilities. The decision could be consequential, as Bank of America reportedly issued a $380 million loan and $75 million credit line to Caliburn, a private facility linked to former DHS Secretary John Kelly that houses child migrants.

But one person seemed less than pleased about the decision: Texas GOP Sen. John Cornyn:

9. John Kelly, trump's ex DHS director, is on the board of this company now.

He was on the board of a related company, then went to DHS where the contracts were given out, then went on to be trump's Chief of Staff until he quit, then went right back to being on board of a company that he gave contracts to.

I would "poof" that Texan into another reality where he was among the poorest of the poor. I would settle for sending him home to his ranch in defeat.

Child Custody Protection Act (S.2543&H.R.1063) but apparently putting them in cages and separating them from their parents is righteous and profitable.

New GOP slogan-Love the fetus, drown the child.

These camps are charging $750 per day per child. Why would they be in any hurry to reunite the kids with their families? Someone is profiting from this human misery. Taxpayers will be footing these inflated charges, bet on it. Does this creep have a stake in these camps? It goes without saying that tRump will be getting a big chunk of the cash. No opportunity slips through his greasy tiny fingers.
